How Is Your Muse?

Try Writing A Short Poem.

Are you losing ideas?

Having a hard time finding the time to write after a busy day at work because the kids want your attention. Animals want to be fed. Your spouse wants some of your non-attention and all you want to do is find a few moments of relaxation and at least one hour of writing?

It doesn’t need to be too long. Maybe try a non-rhyming poem. Put those frazzled thoughts down on paper then edit them into thoughts that reflects how you are feeling and thinking.

Remember someone who got away?

A past hurt.

A happy childhood memory.

A family memory you wish to share with the rest of your family?

You get the picture. I thought I’d never like writing poetry because I thought it might be too hard. Now you try… Use my photograph and write a poem.

Try it.
