“Writing is a passion of mine,” says Robin. “If I do not write every day, I become edgy. That is, until I use my imagination to create memorable characters. Then nothing bothers me; I’m a happy camper!”
Her interests vary in the unique story-lines she chooses to write about; like her love of a good western. It is during those times of hardship, when nature’s elements take us by surprise; and disease, torrential rains, murder, and river crossings challenging the very core of many frontier women, men, and their children – that survival takes precedence over all else which only helps those who survive to a new way of life.
Robin’s stories are character driven, and she always asks these questions before writing a single line: Why do these characters do what they do? What are their secrets, passions, personal struggles?
Robin is a member of San Diego Professional Editor’s, Society of Children’s Book Writer’s and Illustrator’s, Women In Animation and American Medical Writers Association.
Technical – All Industries (agricultural, medical, science etc.)
This is one of the book covers she designed for her historical western published by Full Feather Press.
In fiction, if she can make you laugh, cry, and cheer for your favorite characters; she feels she has done her job as a writer.
Most of her characters are quirky and unique in some respects to be long remembered.
Each character is given a situation in which they must solve a problem, or help someone else; which only helps them find solutions to their own issues, whether in triumph or failure.
